Dr. Janice Harbin
Jordan Health CEO
Jordan Health’s active role in the Rochester community is increasing. We understand that a
healthy person must be in a healthy environment. To be true to our essence, we were compelled
to go out into the community to help change the environment which inadvertently or directly
impacts the health of our patients. We are actively collaborating with businesses, schools, and
neighborhood revitalization projects and participating in local, regional and statewide initiatives.
We are engaging in new partnerships and collaborations with other FQHC’s, the Rochester City
School District, community-based organizations and our area hospitals. Our senior management
team, community engagement and consumer advisory committee are active boots on the ground,
engaging residents, the faith-based community and community leadership to be a compass and voice
for the community. This valuable feedback continues to allow Jordan Health to better serve the
community’s needs. To accommodate growth we are expanding and redesigning our centers,
concurrently we are ramping up our customer service. Jordan Health is going back to the basics
of when your family doctor’s office was a place where you knew everyone and they personally
knew you. Relationships matter.

The TLW Group Inc. is a Rochester based real estate company dedicated to improving the urban living experience. Over the years, Tracy’s work with various inner city programs culminated in the curriculum for his book The Come Up. In this book he teaches young, inner city males how to improve their thinking process. It’s success created a demand for his follow up book, The Come Up for Men. His daughter completed The Come Up for Girls, keeping along the lines of happiness, health and wealth. His novel Urban Development was created to approach these issues from a different angle. He has also authored three fully illustrated children’s books, Eagles Belong in the Sky and Marvin’s Garden, and Millionaire Marvin, each built around valuable life lessons.
Recently Tracy incorporated all of these elements with a bike ride across the nation to raise awareness about urban living conditions, educational disparities and health.

York State and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public

She was inspired to pursue a career in accounting when her mom
established V&V Tax Service with a friend. She marveled at these ladies’
ability to offer high quality, professional services with a spirit of excellence.
Her mom enlisted her help with administrative tasks and simple returns,
which Nakiya found to be enjoyable, engaging and fulfilling work. The best
part was knowing the positive impact their work was having on those that
they served. This motivated Nakiya to enroll in an introduction to Accounting
course offered as a result of a collaboration between Monroe Community College and her alma
mater Brighton High School (which she proudly attended via the Urban-Suburban program).
She went on to attend and graduate with a B.S. in Accounting from Hampton University in
Hampton, Virginia.
